ETAD 991 - Scholarship in Teaching Capstone Project

CHRIS BENNINGTON
EDUCATION & TECHNOLOGY DESIGN STUDENT
University of Saskatchewan
This website marks the final project of my ETAD journey. The ETAD 991 program is a chance to design an artifact that demonstrates our learning in the Educational Technology & Design program, and is an opportunity to reflect on our individual journey through the program.
Including this major assignment, members meet, discuss their project and discuss readings on the importance of critical reflective exercises and the importance of narrative experiences throughout the course. This course is an opportunity to look back at the journey students undertake in the pursuit of their Masters and reflect on who they are, what they have learned and how they have changed.

In Conclusion...

Countless hours have gone into the development of this final cumulative assignment, and the end result is something I can cherish and also share with families, friends, employers and the general public.
As this course has helped to highlight, this whole experience has been a journey and where I am and who I am now has certainly changed. I am a little older and a little wiser. I find myself like the picture above, both looking back at the journey I have just finished and wondering where I will go next. This course has opened my eyes to a wealth of job opportunities and directions I could take in the future. For the immediate future it will be heading back into the classroom and using what I have gathered in this program to enhance my grade 7 students experiences in class through technology and help them become 21st century learners. As for the future, I will have to give some thought to what path I want to take and what opportunities emerge.
